As a Virgo, recovering perfectionist, and domestic violence survivor, I discovered the healing arts in a time of trauma and crisis. Yoga, therapy, sound healing, reiki, and the power of community literally saved my life. Now it has become part of my soul purpose to align myself with organizations who want to provide the life-saving gifts within the variety of healing modalities to the community. When I was asked to be on the Board for The Love and Light Institute, I was honored. My answer was a resounding (and IMMEDIATE) ‘yes’. This organization is providing the opportunity for healers to cultivate their craft in order to bring love, light, and healing to those who desire it. During my time of service on the Board, my intention is to use my creative energy and traditionally nontraditional wellness background to do my part in maximizing the impact this organization will undoubtedly have on our society.
